He saw a few people that seemed to be hurt. They saw Tray and began to walk over to him. “Hello?! I seem to be lost. Could you tell me where I am?” said Tray. The strangers said nothing but began to jog towards him. The looks on their faces seemed deranged and crazed. They began to scream in horrific unison. Tray looked back and began to run but to his dismay he saw a few more people emerge from the hospital with the same deranged look on their faces.
Tray ran immediately to the left up the road that he came. He ran to a nearby store. He flung open the door with a mighty shove. The flimsy door fell to the ground with a light thud. Tray franticly searched for something that could help him. The store looked like an old hardware store. Dust covered the floor and the majority of the shelves like a thick sheet of sawdust. The howling of the deranged persons were drawing closer, their footsteps slapped the concrete outside.
Tray ran further inside the store and began tipping over piles of various tools and shelves. When he reached the back Tray found a large metal exit door he shoved it open and ran outside. He found himself in a back lot of the store. There were piles of trash, Tray hesitated for a moment then dove head first into the trash to hide.
The strange people that were chasing Tray, in a flurry burst open the door. They stopped and began to search the area. Some sounded like they ran away but someone lingered. Tray could hear them scuffling about. His breathing stopped when he could feel one near his stinky hiding place. After a short moment the individual ran away. Tray sighed a sigh of relief.
He brushed himself off and waited a short period of time for his heart to stop racing, until he brought up the courage to leave again. Tray stepped out of his little sanctuary, looked both ways as if to cross a busy freeway then stepped out yet again into the silent street and began to head into town….
